October

October was so very fun! We had Gavin at home, i had to go back to work in the middle, (cried every day for a couple weeks there on my way to work), we blessed Gavin the beginning of November, so family came down for Halloween! So much fun!!

Craig was so fun to carve with this year! He helpeed me pick it out and even poke the pumpkin. Trevor had fun dressing up as a boy scout (think of the little boy in the movie up) and was called to assistant boy scout leader over 11 year olds under my dad. Kinda difficult, but he has stuck with it and neither is dead.

Gavin was a lion and Craig was Anakin Skywalker. He even went to his first friend's biorthday party, dressed in halloween costume. super cute.

I even was able to carve a pumpkin and put Gavin in it. It worked a little better with Craig becasue he was older, could actually sit up, but for an almost 2 month old, Gavin did really well.

back to regular life and a checkup

Well, we had lots of fun on our trip visiting family and then back here with other family visiting, but I am still trying to catch up on sleep and get back in the swing of things. We also had our check-up today for baby and he is a big one!! So, hopefully, his growth will slow down a little. Because i don't really want him to come early (would make it harder with my class) and I don't need a 9 pound baby. we'll see.

I promise to try and get many more pictures and videos together and get some blogging done! if only for journal reasons. I need to keep track of things because I always forget things.

we had NV reading week and one day we got to dress up as our favorite book character. craig's mattress on the floor, the week or two we didn't sleep!! he's back in his crib. wearing daddy's shoes, eating dinner at macayos.

Pictures of life

Craig has been riding a bike around at Jade's when he's there two days a week and loves it! we want to get him a bike for his birthday, but it's not until December. my sister-in-law offered me a girl's one. so for now he has it. he can't push it on his own, like the one at jades, so he gets frustrated, but he still likes it. here he is on it, then another day his cousins came over and wanted some old blue candy canes. well, craig had to have one too, so here it is.

Craig was just being silly when we were getting him ready for bed. he makes us laugh so much! he really is a joy. i need to focus on that more. he is still cranky, but i think he's just growing and frustrated that he can't talk more.

Then, on Friday night, we went to Sierra Vista's football game and watched Luke perform. Craig loved cheering fr part of the football game we caught. he was so funny! he was one of the loudest cheering. then, Luke came on and he started conducting along. he is so cute and so musical. i'm sure, it's nothing amazing, but to me, it is. he is just so smart to conduct along.

This is what i did with both my classes on Friday. it was Johnny Apppleseed day and we tasted apples and chose our favorites.

yay for crystal!

We got to see all of our pictures today and they turned out so GREAT!!! i am so happy!
we got to pick our five favorite and here they are! i am so happy. we should have gotten new family pictures a lot sooner.

Craig was pretty good for them. at first, he wasn't smiling much, but then, we figured out to play peekaboo (especially with the tree) and that helped. i am so very excited.

For the picture below, Crystal actually was able to superimpose his face in, because he actually didn't smile for this picture. it looks so good!
