Today they started giving him pedialyte in a bottle, and then a little bit of (milk) colostrum at 6 and then again at 9!! He had several BMs and seems to be doing really well! I was able to feed him twice (the second time he didn’t want the pedialyte) and Trevor fed him the milk.
HOORAY!! This might speed up his recovery process to a little before next Wednesday coming home, but this is just our speculations.
The PGI doctor came and talked to us a little before we left tonight and said maybe we could try breastfeeding him tomorrow. But we will see what the other drs say. (I’m still not sure who makes all the decisions now, the surgeon or the pediatricians?)
He is still sleeping a lot and doing well.

awww hopefully he can go home soon!!!!! it was great seeing you! i wish i could have chatted with ya (= im glad u guys got out and i hope u had a good time tonight!!!
